The Anthony Walsh Podcast is built for the world of endurance cycling and road culture, and its visual identity needed to speak directly to that audience. The challenge was to create a mark that felt authentic, ownable and rooted in the voice at the centre of the platform.

During earlier exploration for Anthony Walsh’s wider Roadman brand, nmcDesign had developed a sound wave generated from him saying “Welcome to the Roadman Podcast.” While that concept wasn’t used at the time, it captured something essential — the idea of voice as identity.

For the podcast, that sound wave was revisited and refined into the core visual device. By visually representing Anthony’s voice, the identity communicates the audio nature of the platform in a direct and distinctive way. Supported by strong, clean typography, the resulting system is modern, flexible and instantly recognisable across cover art and digital channels.

The outcome is a concept-led identity that connects clearly with its audience and gives the podcast a confident, credible presence within cycling culture.
