Grounded Conversations for Change in Irish Agriculture
On Féirm Ground is a facilitated engagement and training programme focused on creating open, honest conversations within Irish farming communities. Delivered by Engage Training, the programme provides a structured space to explore identity, wellbeing, equality and the future of farming—placing people at the centre of the conversation.
nmcDesign developed a visual identity that reflects the programme’s core values: respect, listening, and grounded dialogue. The identity needed to feel calm, credible and approachable—supporting difficult but necessary conversations without distraction or visual noise.
The design approach was deliberately restrained. Clear typography, considered colour use and simple graphic elements were used to create a sense of stability and trust. The identity works across training materials, print resources and digital outputs, ensuring consistency and clarity for facilitators and participants alike.
On Féirm Ground demonstrates how thoughtful design can support meaningful engagement—creating an environment where conversations can happen openly, safely and with purpose.
