On Feirm Ground:
Bright, clear and farmer-first
On Feirm Ground is a mental health training programme delivered to – and through – Ireland’s farming community.
Led by Men’s Development Network and Engage Training, the programme needed a simple, flexible identity system that could be used by facilitators and staff without design experience.
This wasn’t a rebrand.
It was about making something that worked.

Type of Work
Visual identity, asset design, print + screen toolkit, usage guide
The original logo wasn’t legible, didn’t scale, and came with no useful assets.
There was no visual consistency between printed handouts, presentations or signage.
It wasn’t clear, it wasn’t flexible – and it didn’t reflect the quality of the programme.

What We Did
-
Designed a bold, functional new logo
-
Built a high-contrast colour palette that breaks the “muddy” mould
-
Selected accessible fonts (Arial Black & Effra) for day-to-day use
-
Delivered a flexible PowerPoint system for facilitators
-
Created a usage guide for non-designers
-
Supplied all assets in digital and print-ready formats

We didn’t want polite.
We wanted clear.
The OFG identity uses bold colours and confident type to cut through in busy, rural environments – from co-op foyers to conference stages.
The fonts are intentionally simple: Arial Black is universally available; Effra is lightweight and pairs well in slides and docs.
The result is a visual system that works where it’s needed – in real-world situations, on the ground, by people who aren’t designers.
