More than
a school.

A community with a vision.

You know a project’s going to be good when the client knows exactly what they stand for. Waterford Educate Together isn’t just about education—it’s about opportunity, inclusivity, and a belief that every child should feel seen, heard, and valued. Paddy, the principal, had a vision: create a brand that wasn’t just about looking good but one that felt like the school itself—something the staff, students, and parents could rally behind.

Visual Identity

The challenge? It wasn’t just up to Paddy. The school board had to be on board, the identity system needed to work for enrolment campaigns, and, once launched, it had to live beyond just a logo—in classrooms, on signage, in the community, and on social media. It had to be bold enough to stand out but flexible enough to work across everything the school did.

It was about capturing what makes Waterford Educate Together different—its four pillars: respect, inclusion, diversity, and innovation. The new identity needed to celebrate that ethos while making sure it had real-world usability.

The goals were clear:

  • Unify the school’s visual identity across all platforms.

  • Create a brand that parents and students connect with.

  • Develop an enrollment campaign that speaks to families who share the school’s values.

  • Launch a social push that made noise beyond just the school community.

Through research and workshops, we got to know the heart of the school. We knew how to bring it to life visually. And together, we pushed to create something that didn’t just sit in the background but actively shaped how the school presented itself.

The design had to do a lot of heavy lifting. It needed to be approachable but professional, modern but timeless. Every decision was built around making sure this brand worked in the real world—from enrollment brochures to digital assets to the school’s physical environment.

It wasn’t just about picking the right colours (though they had to be bright, positive, and energetic). It wasn’t just about typography (though it had to be clear, friendly, and easy to work with). It was about building an identity that felt owned by everyone—from staff to students to parents.

The school board had to sign off on it. That meant balancing creativity with practicality—not just something bold, but something that made sense for the long term.

And when it was finally approved? The work wasn’t done. The launch needed momentum. The social push wasn’t just a ‘here’s our new logo’ moment—it was a rallying cry for the entire Waterford Educate Together community. This was their brand, and we made sure they knew it.

Now, Waterford Educate Together has a brand that represents who they are—not just another school, but a movement in education.

The enrollment campaign landed. The board backed it. The school community embraced it. And the social rollout? It made sure everyone saw it.

This wasn’t about design for design’s sake. It was about giving a school with a strong vision the tools to tell their story with confidence.
